1
Kathmandu – Surkhet (Drive or Flight Option)
Depart Kathmandu for Surkhet by bus (approx. 20 hours) and overnight at a hotel. Alternatively, fly to Surkhet and enjoy extra time exploring Kathmandu (recommended).

Surkhet – Karnali River Put-In
After breakfast, drive to the Karnali River put-in point. Depending on arrival time, camp at the riverbank or begin rafting to a secluded beach. The 180 km Karnali River expedition begins.

Karnali River Rafting Expedition
Enjoy multi-day rafting through remote jungle landscapes, deep gorges, and thrilling Class III–V rapids. After the Seti River confluence, the river becomes calmer, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, including rare river dolphins and gharial crocodiles.

Karnali River – Chisopani – Surkhet
Final day of rafting to Chisopani. Pack up equipment and transfer by road or flight to Surkhet or Kathmandu. Optional extension to Bardiya National Park for wildlife safari.

Return to Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu by long drive or short flight. Evening free to relax, celebrate the expedition, and share stories with the team.
