Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Take some time to relax and prepare for the trek with a briefing from the guide.

Day 2

Take a scenic 35-minute flight to Tumlingtar (410m), followed by a 4-hour drive to Num (1560m), a small village offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 3

Start your trek through terraced fields and forests for a 5-6 hour journey to Seduwa, a peaceful village.

Day 4

Trek for 6-7 hours through charming villages and scenic landscapes, arriving in Tashigaun, a traditional Sherpa settlement.

Day 5

Climb for 6-7 hours through rhododendron forests and across rugged terrain to Khongma Danda, a mountain ridge offering panoramic views.

Day 6

Rest and acclimatize to the altitude. Take short walks around the area to aid in the adjustment.

Day 7

Trek for 6-7 hours, crossing high mountain passes like Shipton La. Enjoy amazing vistas of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Day 8

A 5-6 hour trek brings you to Yangri Kharka, a peaceful spot in the mountains with great views.

Day 9

Climb for 5-6 hours through alpine meadows and rugged trails to Longmale Kharka, a high-altitude meadow with great views of the mountains.

Day 10

Begin on a 4-5 hour trek to the stunning Makalu Base Camp, where you’ll be surrounded by the towering peaks of the Makalu region.

Day 11

Spend the day at Makalu Base Camp, exploring the area and soaking in views of Mount Makalu and other nearby peaks.

Day 12

Begin your descent with a 7-8 hour trek back to Yangri Kharka.

Day 13

A 6-7 hour trek will take you back through familiar trails to Dobate.

Day 14

Trek through lush forests and beautiful landscapes for 6-7 hours, reaching Danda Kharka, a charming mountain village.

Day 15

Descend for 7-8 hours to Seduwa, passing through different vegetation and terrain.

Day 16

Complete a 4-hour trek to Num, then drive for 4 hours back to Tumlingtar.

Day 17

Fly back to Kathmandu in 35 minutes and transfer to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 18

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu, including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 19

After a memorable journey, transfer to the airport for your final departure.
